Story working on

 # Ner Kaathal
(English translation, easy to read, easy to export)

## Chapter 1
Thrissur, 1997
The house smelled of old books and turpentine.

Vinod was ten. He sat behind the wooden pillar, knees to chest, counting how many times his father said the word “mediocrity” and how many times his mother answered with silence.

Father (shouting): “You think marrying me made you an artist? You are painting the same jasmine flower for fifteen years!”

Mother (very soft, very dangerous): “At least the jasmine never leaves me, Raviettan.”

Then a plate broke. Then a kiss. Then the light went off.

Vinod pressed his palms to his ears and made a promise to the dark:
“My house will never sound like this.”

## Chapter 2
Kochi, 2018
Vinod Menon, advocate, thirty-seven years old, unmarried, good salary, no debts, no bad habits except secretly listening to Backstreet Boys in the car with the windows rolled up.

His aunt from Palakkad called.
“Vinodettan, we found a girl. Lakshmi Warrier, Kottayam. Bharatanatyam teacher. Very fair, very quiet. You just meet once.”

He met once.
She wore off-white saree, no smile, eyes fixed on the table.
He thought: quiet is good. Quiet is safe.

They married in forty-five days.

First night.
She went to the bathroom and cried for twenty-three minutes.
He counted every second from the other side of the door, then pretended he was asleep.

## Chapter 3
Two years passed like borrowed time.

Nandita was born. Vinod became a fool who sang “I want it that way… believe when I say…” while changing nappies.

One night he opened Lakshmi’s cupboard to find a baby frock and saw the small wooden box instead.

Inside: dried jasmine, one old photograph, letters.

He read one line and the world went silent.

“Arjunettan, I count the days until the next Theyyam. Your Lakshmi.”

He closed the box, put it back exactly, and went to the balcony.

Rain was falling straight and hard, like punishment.

Vinod to the rain: “Again I reached second place.”

## Chapter 4
Next morning he made filter coffee, two cups, and spoke like a man discussing the weather.

Vinod: “Lakshmi, do you want to find him?”

Lakshmi dropped the steel glass. Coffee spread like blood.

Lakshmi (whisper): “What are you saying?”

Vinod: “We have a daughter. I don’t want her to grow up in a house where love is hiding in a wooden box. We will go to Kannur. If your heart still runs to him, I will leave you there. I will manage.”

Lakshmi: “You are mad.”

Vinod (smiling like it hurts): “Yes. Little bit.”

## Chapter 5
They travelled north. Train, bus, auto, Nandu on Vinod’s hip, Lakshmi looking out of windows.

At night in cheap lodges Vinod told stories he had never told anyone.

Vinod: “When I was eight, Amma tried to swallow sleeping pills. I hid the bottle inside my school bag for three months. Every day I prayed the tablets would lose power.”

Lakshmi listened. First time her eyes stayed on him longer than two seconds.

## Chapter 6
Kannur. Theyyam night.

Arjun became the goddess, face painted red and gold, sword in hand, fire on head.

Drums. Smoke. Blood from self-cuts.

Lakshmi stood between husband and old lover, holding her daughter’s hand so tight the child complained.

After the ritual Arjun came, barefoot, voice broken.

Arjun: “I waited. Every Theyyam season I looked for your face in the crowd.”

Lakshmi cried without sound.

That night she sat on the temple step beside Vinod.

Lakshmi: “Take me home, Vinodettan. I was blind. You are my home.”

Vinod closed his eyes. The biggest yes of his life, and he only nodded once.

## Chapter 7
Four golden years in Kochi.

Lakshmi danced again, this time for Nandu and Vinod.

She learned every Backstreet Boys lyric because Vinod blushed when she sang “Quit Playing Games” in the kitchen.

Vinod’s only remaining dream: to take his girls to London, O2 Arena, Backstreet Boys farewell tour.

He booked three tickets. Front standing. He told Nandu, “Appa will carry you on shoulders the whole night.”

## Chapter 8
London, November 2025

They reached three days early. Red buses, Big Ben, rain that felt like home.

Concert night. Nandu wore glitter cat ears. Vinod wore the biggest smile of his thirty-nine years.

The boys sang “Everybody.” Then “As Long As You Love Me.” Then the song Vinod waited for all his life: “I Want It That Way.”

He had tears. Lakshmi had tears. Nandu waved her little sign: I LOVE YOU DADDY.

Encore. Blue lights. “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely.”

Vinod lifted Nandu higher. Lakshmi pressed her face to his shoulder.

He said, very soft, only for her ears: “I grew up without these words. Thank you for teaching me.”

She answered: “Njan ninne snehikkunnu, Vinodettan.”

That was the exact second the first bomb went off.

## Chapter 9
It was not loud like in movies. It was a dull thud, then heat, then darkness.

Vinod pushed his wife and daughter down, covered them with his body the way he once covered his ears from his parents’ fighting.

He felt pain, then warmth spreading across his chest, then nothing.

When the lights came back, Lakshmi was screaming his name into smoke.

She found him lying on his back, eyes open to the roof, still smiling a little, the glitter cat ears crushed in his hand.

He was already gone.

## Chapter 10
London, three years later

Lakshmi teaches dance in Wembley. Nandu speaks English like a London child and Malayalam like her mother.

Every year on 15 November, Lakshmi takes the Jubilee line to North Greenwich.

She stands outside the O2, now half memorial, half concert hall.

She brings the two cracked light sticks Vinod never got to wave.

She switches them on. Pale blue. Almost dead.

She waits until the light dies completely.

Then she walks to the Thames and takes out the note he wrote on the flight to London, the note she has carried for three years.

She reads it one last time.

“If anything happens to me, remember:
I heard ‘I love you’ back.
I heard it during my favourite song, with my two girls against my heart.
Some people wait a hundred years and never get that.
So don’t cry too long.
Tell Nandu her Appa left happy.
– Vinod”

She lets the paper go.

It floats under the bridges, past the lights, towards the sea.

Lakshmi whispers to the dark water:

“Njan ninne snehikkunnu… eppozhum.”

(I love you… always.)

The river takes his name and keeps it.

End.

Story Pitch: *Ner Kaathal* (True Love)

**Genre**: Drama, Romance, Tragedy
**Setting**: Contemporary Kerala – Kottayam backwaters, Thrissur temples, Kochi city life, and finally a crowded indoor arena in Kochi.
**Perspective**: Still told through Vinod Menon, until the moment he can no longer speak.

**Logline**: A gentle lawyer shaped by his parents’ stormy yet unbroken marriage believes arranged marriage will finally give him the love he never had as a child—only to discover his wife still loves another man, and just when she is ready to love him back, a senseless bomb blast at a Backstreet Boys reunion concert steals him forever.

**Plot** (re-written with tragic ending):

**Act 1: A Dream Born of Chaos**
Everything remains the same until the wedding night. Vinod (35), the quiet Kochi lawyer from an intellectually combative Thrissur household, marries Lakshmi (26), the graceful Bharatanatyam dancer from Kottayam. He is already in love with the idea of her. She is polite, distant, mourning a past.

**Act 2: The Weight of Her Past**
Married life in Kochi is painfully civil. Lakshmi keeps Anil’s locket, listens to old folk cassettes when she thinks Vinod is asleep, and flinches from his touch. Vinod finds the unsent letters, learns about the Theyyam artist from Kannur her family rejected because he was “beneath” them. Instead of anger, Vinod feels only a deep, familiar ache—he knows what it is to love someone who cannot fully love you back; he watched his parents do it for thirty-five years.

**Act 3: The Selfless Odyssey**
Exactly like the original: Vinod secretly plans the journey north, pretending it is a delayed honeymoon to see Theyyam season in Kannur. They travel by train, by boat through the backwaters, by bus along the coast. Vinod opens up about his childhood—nights hiding under the teak dining table while his father quoted Kafka and his mother smashed her unpublished poems against the wall. Lakshmi begins to see the gentle, wounded man who never demands anything from her.

In a moonlit Theyyam ground, face painted like a god, Anil performs with the same fire that once made Lakshmi’s heart race. But ten years have passed. Anil now has a wife, a child on the way, debts, and the weary eyes of a man who knows the romance of the road has a price. Lakshmi watches the ritual, then watches Vinod standing quietly at the edge of the crowd, hands in his pockets, ready to walk away forever if that is what she needs.

That night, by the sea in Payyambalam, she cries—not for Anil, but for the time she wasted and the good man she almost lost. She takes Vinod’s hand and says, for the first time, “Let’s go home.”

**Act 4: Five Months of Quiet Happiness**
Back in Kochi, something tender blooms. They are shy with each other, like teenagers. Lakshmi starts leaving her locket in a drawer. Vinod brings her filter coffee in bed and laughs—actually laughs—when she teases him about his terrible taste in music. She discovers he secretly loves 90s American pop. For their six-month wedding “monthiversary” (Vinod’s silly word), Lakshmi surprises him: two tickets to the Backstreet Boys reunion concert at the packed new arena in Kochi. She rolls her eyes but smiles—“I want you to be happy, even if it means listening to five middle-aged men sing about wanting it that way.”

The night of the concert. The arena is full—teenagers who grew up with the songs, thirty-somethings reliving their childhood, couples like Vinod and Lakshmi holding hands in the crowd. They are in the standing area near the front. Vinod is ridiculous—singing every word, arms around Lakshmi, kissing her temple during “I Want It That Way.” For the first time in his life, Vinod Menon feels he belongs to someone and is belonged to in return.

The encore begins. The lights dim for “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely.”
A deafening blast rips through the arena. Then another. And another.
Panic. Screams. Smoke. Falling lights.

Vinod shoves Lakshmi down, covers her with his body.
She feels the warmth of him, then the wetness.
When the ringing stops and the emergency lights come on, she is clutching his hand, but it is already limp.

**Epilogue: What Remains**
Lakshmi survives with minor injuries.
She keeps the concert wristband and the locket—now side by side in a small wooden box.
She returns to the Kottayam house she once wanted to escape, teaches Bharatanatyam to little girls, and every year on their wedding anniversary she takes the train to Thrissur, sits in the same cinema hall where Vinod once took her for their first “date” after Kannur, and plays the Backstreet Boys on her phone at full volume, alone in the dark.

The final shot: the empty arena months later, workers repairing the blast damage. A cleaner finds a torn ticket stub on the floor. On the back, in Vinod’s neat lawyer handwriting:
“Thank you for letting me be your last love. – V”

Fade to black.
Title card in Malayalam and English:
“Ner Kaathal”
True love sometimes lasts only long enough to be recognized—
and then it is gone forever.

Story Type 1

In the quiet backwaters of Kottayam, where the
kayal shimmered under the afternoon sun, Vinod Menon found himself a quiet observer of life, both in his law practice in Kochi and in the echoes of his past. His childhood home in Thrissur, near the vibrant noise of the Pooram, had been a stage for his parents’ perpetual, passionate sparring. His father, a literature professor with a thundering voice, and his mother, a poet chasing bohemian dreams, lived a life of intense, unresolved intellectual ambition. They never divorced, yet their bond was a turbulent mix of love and simmering resentment, leaving Vinod craving a simple, quiet stability they never offered.
He romanticized arranged marriage, believing it to be the true path to a loving, secure family—a stark contrast to the emotional void of his youth. When his family introduced him to Lakshmi, a Bharatanatyam dancer from a traditional Nair tharavadu in Kottayam, he was captivated. Her poise, her quiet grace during their engagement meetings near the Vembanad Lake, promised the serenity he desperately sought. He envisioned shared evenings by the backwaters, a home filled with laughter, a stark departure from the cold intellectualism of his past.
Their wedding night, however, shattered the illusion. Lakshmi was distant, a palpable sorrow clouding her beautiful eyes. Unease gnawed at Vinod. As the days in their Kochi apartment unfolded, it became clear her heart resided elsewhere. She spent evenings lost in thought, avoiding intimacy, clinging to a small silver locket with a faded photograph.
One evening, while trying to organize the house, Vinod found a dusty cassette of folk songs and a hidden letter. The truth unspooled: Lakshmi was bound to a past love, Anil, a charismatic Theyyam artist from Kannur. Her conservative family, disapproving of Anil’s itinerant lifestyle and lower caste, had forced them apart, arranging her marriage to Vinod. She was a silent captive, her longing for Anil mirroring Vinod’s own yearning for a love his parents had never modeled. The emotional void of his childhood returned, the feeling of being invisible in his own life, now an intruder in his own marriage.
Instead of anger, an overwhelming empathy washed over him. Inspired by a selfless love he had only ever read about, Vinod made a radical decision. He would help Lakshmi find closure. He proposed a journey north, through the misty hills of Wayanad, the bustling markets of Kozhikode, leading them to the sacred Theyyam grounds of Kannur. He framed it as a cultural exploration, a way to see Kerala’s vibrant heritage.
Along the journey, Vinod opened up, sharing stories of his youth, the lonely boy mediating his parents' grand arguments, the longing for simple affection. Lakshmi, touched by his vulnerability, revealed her guilt, her fear that her heart was too broken to ever love again.
In Kannur, they found Anil performing at a temple ritual, his fiery, primal performance captivating the crowd. Lakshmi watched, initially mesmerized, but as she observed him, she saw the transient nature of his life, the absence of the quiet strength and stability Vinod offered. Yet, her heart remained tethered, a complicated knot of past memories.
Vinod, prepared to let her go, had booked tickets for a concert in Mumbai—the Backstreet Boys, a favorite of Lakshmi’s teenage years, something he hoped would bring her joy, a final selfless act. He handed her the tickets after they left the temple, urging her to find her happiness, with Anil or on her own terms.
They reached Mumbai, a city buzzing with a different kind of energy. The stadium was packed, the air electric with nostalgia. As the first chords of a familiar song began, Lakshmi turned to Vinod, a new light in her eyes, a nascent appreciation for his profound sacrifice. "Vinod," she began, a subtle smile signaling a potential shift.
But fate, a cruel scriptwriter, intervened. The world erupted in a thunderous roar. A bomb blast ripped through the stadium floor. Chaos ensued, a sea of screaming faces and dust. In the frantic rush, Vinod pushed Lakshmi towards an exit, his last conscious thought a desperate plea for her safety.
He never made it out.
Back in Kochi, the apartment once filled with silent sorrow was now heavy with the finality of grief. Lakshmi returned alone. Vinod’s parents, the volatile poets and professors, were united in a shared, profound silence, their intellectual sparring over a son lost to senseless violence. The perfect marriage Vinod had yearned for, the one he had tried to build with such selfless love, remained an unfinished story. The only thing left was the quiet echo of a Backstreet Boys song and the tragic, enduring irony that in death, Vinod achieved a quiet, selfless love that transcended life itself. His sacrifice became the tragic, poignant truth of Ner Kaathal, a love realized only in its devastating absence.

Steves Quotes (Again borrowed from a site which put it up)

Steve Jobs one of the most renowned entrepreneur shares some of his thoughts and wisdom on Time, Faith, Life, Goal, People, Success, Knowledge, Thinker and Day

  1. Time – The most precious resource we all have is time.
  2. Faith – Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith.
  3. Life – I think the things you most regret in life are things you didn’t do.
  4. Goal – You should never start a company with the goal of getting rich. Your goal should be making something you believe in and making a company that will last.
  5. People – As individuals, people are inherently good. I have a somewhat more pessimistic view of people in groups.
  6. Success – I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.
  7. Knowledge – People who know what they’re talking about don’t need PowerPoint.
  8. Thinker – The people that really create the things that change this industry are both the thinker and doer in one person.
  9. Day – I don’t think much about my time of life. I just get up in the morning and it’s a new day.

Ben Stiller Did it

Feel good movies have been a part of hollywood and they know far too well than any other
industry to keep it distinct, sweet, genuine.Ben stiller who has known to do comedy films which
are supposedly funny and light movies always made me think each and every if only he had
avoided on the on the face jokes of adult nature very untimely.

But Ben Stiller has done it this time  both as an actor and director with his film: Secret life of Walter Mitty.

Poster of the movie : The Secret life of Walter Mitty

Wow !! What a film... very light, funny, subtle jokes, out of the world moments(right amount),family bondness, very real..version of how a good American movie  for family to watch could reach. This may be one of the best feel good movie that hollywood could be proud off.
A must watch really!!  reminded me about the one fine day(1996) kind of feel.
Another one to watch is August:Osage County,
The director did hell of job in telling the tale of a dysfunctional family.I sadly remembering him apologizing
Julia Roberts in August Osage County
for rushing th film for the oscars but I dont think that was neccessary as this piece was original.I really think Julia Roberts did her role with more clarity than Meryl streep. What do you think??

This story is for the "Pretending Geniuses"

The following story was found when I was googling for some doubts about barometer. But after reading it even though I did not have time to spare I really had to put this story which amused me over here and here it goes....

The following concerns a question in a physics degree exam at the University of Copenhagen:
"Describe how to determine the height of a skyscraper with a barometer."
One student replied:
"You tie a long piece of string to the neck of the barometer, then lower the barometer from the roof of the skyscraper to the ground. The length of the string plus the length of the barometer will equal the height of the building."
This highly original answer so incensed the examiner that the student was failed immediately. The student appealed on the grounds that his answer was indisputably correct, and the university appointed an independent arbiter to decide the case.
The arbiter judged that the answer was indeed correct, but did not display any noticeable knowledge of physics. To resolve the problem it was decided to call the student in and allow him six minutes in which to provide a verbal answer that showed at least a minimal familiarity with the basic principles of physics.
For five minutes the student sat in silence, forehead creased in thought. The arbiter reminded him that time was running out, to which the student replied that he had several extremely relevant answers, but couldn't make up his mind which to use. On being advised to hurry up the student replied as follows:
"Firstly, you could take the barometer up to the roof of the skyscraper, drop it over the edge, and measure the time it takes to reach the ground. The height of the building can then be worked out from the formula H = 0.5g x t squared. But bad luck on the barometer."
"Or if the sun is shining you could measure the height of the barometer, then set it on end and measure the length of its shadow. Then you measure the length of the skyscraper's shadow, and thereafter it is a simple matter of proportional arithmetic to work out the height of the skyscraper."
"But if you wanted to be highly scientific about it, you could tie a short piece of string to the barometer and swing it like a pendulum, first at ground level and then on the roof of the skyscraper. The height is worked out by the difference in the gravitational restoring force T =2 pi sqr root (l /g)."
"Or if the skyscraper has an outside emergency staircase, it would be easier to walk up it and mark off the height of the skyscraper in barometer lengths, then add them up."
"If you merely wanted to be boring and orthodox about it, of course, you could use the barometer to measure the air pressure on the roof of the skyscraper and on the ground, and convert the difference in millibars into feet to give the height of the building."
"But since we are constantly being exhorted to exercise independence of mind and apply scientific methods, undoubtedly the best way would be to knock on the janitor's door and say to him 'If you would like a nice new barometer, I will give you this one if you tell me the height of this skyscraper'."
The student was Niels Bohr, the only Dane to win the Nobel Prize for physics.

Hope you guys enjoyed..!!

Like every other blog out there nowdays,Let me too continue with same statement of Its been a while since I was here and still it doesn't feel strange.

This post is actually for the future me.I want to tell the future me I felt so trapped during this time.I wanted to be part of the journey I am on,But it make me sad  that I am not on the correct path in this journey and I am not fit for the journey I am in now.Its not that the journey I am in is a one that I don't love to go through but its the path chosen that sickens me and also the ship. The fault factor is that the dream ship I am on is ridden by worst ego statical, weirdly down to earth, contradicting unhonest to self people I have ever met as a whole package.

It even gets worse as fellow sailors except couple of them are the ones  trying to prey on you or cut through you with the most crudest feelings but with same egoist attitude.

I hope you could in the future me finds myself traveling safely with the couple of your favorite sailors then through this journey.

Final note to myself: You're now in room no:214 writing this on your newly bought HP while the other sailors are sitting in the other end of room with future roommate trying to crush you in every way possible.Till then hope, sadness and despair of not being in the righteous path is all I have for myself to sooth me.

ITs Called Venus Transit;Next one is on 2117

This is a screen shot of the Venus transit in between the sun and the earth which I watched from the Ustream live channel.I got up late so I could only watch the last half n hour of the whole thingy. But I got to watch it with an elderly who didn't have to go to job today and I liked it since next one is on 2117.

Times when MS command prompt comes to rescue

Open source free software supporter is who I am.On behalf of that thought every chance I get I try to persuade someone to use the free software alternative if present.Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.Even then I totally love the way windows7 or xp works in my old computers when the unity fan ubuntu or anyone from the gnome family try to make my computer look oldish..(Oldish--Is that even a word!!) and compels me to look for XFCE or LXDE or E17 ..etc alternatives.

So as I was trying out the the distro named Linpus lite desktop 1.7 version on my USB and after trying many time it still did not boot from the usb(Yes,This have a very bad reputation on booting from usb).So I thought I may try the other chineese OS linux deepin from USB.But this time there was a different problem USB wouldn't mount because of not being able to read the superblock it says.So I tried doing almost every thing that the different forums told me to but it still couldn't do the needy and it showed this "Giving up".

So I thought I might format it using windows on my other computer but even in windows it was taking lot of time to read it though it was being listed in the MyComputer(I was partly happy as a small hope appeared out of nowwhere--And its still not DEAD).But windows was taking unusual amount of time to read the usb drive attached.Seeing this I closed the GUI showing the MyComputer and run the command prompt.

From my past experience from linux terminal I naturally didn't expect much from the MS command prompt.Even then I gave it a try .So I sat there for an hour doing things in the ways exactly as mentioned in the forums of windows

and Guess What ...!!!

I was wrong and I am now writing this on blogger while the next os is made as live usb using unetbootin in the pendrive that was made alive by MS command prompt.

Its clear that I do not know the technicalities behind it.But I sure know this
"MS Command promt made me happy today!!"

PS:The said USB was not mine but it was a borrowed from someone who had borrowed it from another. And I do not want to imagine the look of the face when I break this news to the *person*(notice the stars around it--it speaks).

Finally Black in white

I have in past two days been infront of the system doing nothing. So I thought I might change the blogger theme when I correct my previous post. Now both the task are done.I now need to get back to what I really want to do.So for that I going to make little sacrifice and discard all ongoing downloads and change my OS to Xubuntu 12.04 LTS(3year support).

The reason I am switching to xubuntu is for need of a faster system than a gnome based OS.As working speed and efficiency for all the new gnome or unity based linux OS's in older hardwares are nowhere in par with the standards of Microsoft Windows.

Plus,In addition ubuntu have dropped support for Non APE based system in their new LTS version(Support for 5 years). While lubuntu and Xubuntu have given support for Non APE based system(May be because they are aimed for the ageing hardware).

So to install ubuntu 12.04 in a Non APE based systems the following are the options :
1-Using the Ubuntu Minimum ISO
2-Upgrade from an earlier version of ubuntu.

So I have stop writing and have to get back to put xubuntu in my computer.

P.S : The title refers to the name of free blogger template I have used here.

In path of no direction

I have used ubuntu before, and I have used blogging softwares before but it took me till now to find some simple piece of blogging software for moon OS (based on ubuntu with a different filesytem)to just to get the posting to blog done.I am starting to sound like I have been trying since long. But in reality I have just forgot how to get in back of things and I am now abound a train which have no direction but bounces off on all wall that I know I can penetrate through but dont want it to happen.

Yes in these times I have not been writing here eventhough I was completely active in the interwebs but only doing the reading part. Now I think I have found the perfect pattern but not direction because I cannot differentiate it.So in coming times I have to try to get me back in the routine that I was into before in all manner possible.
So in order to get started with I will be in future cross posting from the journal I started writing since this week at another online service which I do not want to publicize(You can understand right??).

Anyway now I have to go post what I have here over there too...

See what I meant by no direction it can just flip like that !!!

I know you may have at some point or may be everytime felt the same about your life and may you have got over it.I on another other hand feels afraid to reach out and get the trouble over with for once because I cannot convince myself to others how I really feel in a manner which they take it seriously.Which means it never happens and I end up in loop doing the same and feeling the same as I always has done or felt.

I know...Its getting boring and I know you dont have a clue what I am talking about..so just dont mind me emptying my head here in open in a rather closed manner.I do that a lot.And I must really stop writing now.

Test post from my android!!

This is a test post from blogger for android.
It also proves blogging is not so dead...and never will be!!

Playing around with Blogging Softwares

Today as I was free (at the expense of losing of a placement coaching session) all alone at home mostly with nothing to do.So in taking advantage of the free time got I thought of finding a good blog editing and publishing software. As I have been wishing to implement an offline blog editing system because of two things rather than the online blog editing option in blogger :

1.On using the online solution for these require me to have an additional login username and password(which I am finding it little heck to manage ).

2.Whenever I have something striking that I find it interesting to share with I would need an active internet connection with me.

On picking an offline solution enables me from losing space in my memory to remember or prompting me to use an password manager.Counting on an offline solution helps me to record the thoughts and other stuffs that strikes me to post here even if I dont have an active connection with me at that moment.

Keeping the above condition in my mind I searched through best solution that would help me.The sad thing is that I did not find an free software that equals with capability of an online solution other the premium solutions which bypass the capabilities of an online system too.Accepting the above facts I knew of the limit that I will have to face if I stick with the an offline solution.Even then I had to opt for an free offline solution as I had no plan of emptying my pocket for this one requirement of mine.

So I choose Post2Blog - a desktop blogging client for Windows, among the 13 of the ones I tested owing to its simpleness, clean installation and un-installation of the software, offering many features that only premium ones have.In fact I am doing this post using the same.I would definitely tell this software is something to try out if you dont have the money or heart to spend anything for an offline blog editing.

AVG Antivirus - User review

USER REVIEW ON AVG FREE ANTIVIRUS

I have been trying out Avg free antivirus over past months. And
I thought, why not prepare a user review about the same and
here is the things that I think about the product.

General Info:

-It’s a free antivirus program from AVG who has another
premieum product too in the antivirus segment.
-It does not have a firewall with it.( most free antivirus software don’t have it but I have seen firewall in the comodo internet security system-which too offer free).
-Link scanner does a good job.

Facts I found about it:

-Scanning time required are less for almost every type of scan
compared to the free products in market.
-Boot time reqiured increased considerably. While shutdown time not much affected.
-Other running programs perfomances are not affected.Which is a very postive thing.
-Link scanner eventhough is good.It will exit the web browser without giving any chance for the user to pause downloading tasks, saving open web based works..etc(So you have to be in caution every time you feel that the computer is not responding the way that it should and start taking the action).
This can prove to be highly frustrating at times and I did not find any settings change options for this.*If someone found this do post as a comment.*
-Its real times protection features are quite good.

So Prons and cons:

Prons includes:

1.Its free.
2.Online support is also good.
3.Virus detection shows stableness and seldom saw any safe files being shown as a threat while many other free antivirus does that often.
4.Not affecting the speed and efficiency of executing other apps.
5.User interface is simple.
6.It does not need any registering to continue usage(Which is
the case of free antivirus like the avast after 30 days).

Cons includes:

1.Slows the booting considerably(I will put it in between 10-20sec) and shutdown too is lagging in time (not as much as booting ofcourse !!) compared to a non protected system or other free antivirus I have tried.

2.Apps like PC analyser(I meant the full thing not available-only a one time free online test) not given in the free edition.Controlling settings of apps is difficult.

3.Annoying advertisements with AVG FREE ANTIVIRUS will cause the system to lag and this can make the software appear sluggish to you.
On weighting the pros and cons from listed even though the number of pros being more I uninstalled it from my system.Mainly due to the sluggishness it caused on my computer.

But for the ones who want to try this product following is the link:

First post of this year !!

The first one is always considered auspicious according to almost all type of religion and faith. And that being the case I really hope I can keep posting more contents than last year following this one even though I am already late by three months ..LOL.

For you to know since December after my last post I have been constantly working on linking to some interesting contents that are worth presenting to you.But due to my bad hard disk I have been failing since. Now I have somehow managed to get a "used" hard disk to help with my work for time being.Hoping it will help me for long time to come & help me post contents and links to things which may interest you.

In the mean time let me hear from you people about the photo I have put above.
If you don't have time to comment then score it out of 10.

All is well thats ends well

For most of us every day is like a whole new life gifted to us by the god. One day or the another it is some how special for us. Either we meet someone new or get a life time opportunity to show ourselves. But you can't tell its always good things that happens. For a student it might be like getting low marks in papers, for workers it would be like getting fired by his/her boss and for a simple home maker it is not getting her things done in time. For everyone an anyone it is different. Actually it should be different...we all got our own life and family..right!. Being different is one thing that makes our day different.

So now it is not just a new day coming, but we got a whole new year waiting for us. In this coming year it will be a grant success for some, but for a few it will bring them some bad incident to remember. When every new year comes by, we hear from a lot talking about taking new resolutions. Most of us don't actually believe in this stuff..right..the main reason I guess is that we don't keep our promises.huh:-/ As day passes most of us won't even remember what were they. So when a new year comes, resolutions taken are to keep our promises practicing all year long. But don't you think that we never couldn't make that promise true. So now when a new year arrives the only hope is that, it could bring something new in ourselves. All most everyone had a good time in 2010, so let us hope that the same thing happen in 2011. So cheers to whole those who have read this and not read this articles to acquire a great achievement and may this year makes you reach a right destination.
